Lake Chelan Tree Service

About Lake Chelan Tree Service

In midwinter the lake gives off steam at first light and the ponderosas above town stand black against the snow on the far ridges. Lake Chelan Tree Service is out in that cold — bringing down a dead pine at the top of a lot, pruning apple and shade trees while they are dormant and easy to read, cutting limbs off a cabin roof out toward Manson. Wind funnels the whole length of the lake and finds anything already weakened, so a storm day means limbs across driveways, tops hung up, fences to be freed. Everything gets bucked, chipped and carried off, and the ground raked down to dirt. Come spring the orchards will bloom on the same hillside, and the yards will be ready for it.
