About Art's Edges To Hedges

October turns the poplars along the Chelan orchard rows a hard bright gold, and the mornings finally come in cool. Art's Edges To Hedges handles the lawn work in and around town — mowing, string trimming, edging, and the fall cleanups that get a yard buttoned down before the cold. There is a particular pleasure in the season's last cut: the grass short and even, the leaves pulled out of the corners, the border along the sidewalk drawn like a pencil line. Chelan yards are small and steep and full of odd angles, which is exactly what makes them worth doing right. Come spring, the same lawns wake up ready.
