About Chippen Tree Service

On a clear morning Castle Rock gets the whole view — Mount St. Helens up the Spirit Lake Highway, the Cowlitz sliding past the riverfront trail, cottonwoods on the bank turning silver when the wind flips them. Chippen Tree Service works that valley floor and the hills behind it: removals in yards where a fir has outgrown what the lot can hold, trimming the alder that leans a little further each winter, pruning maples so the shape they make in fifty years is one worth having. Wet ground and heavy wood mean a felling gets planned twice and cut once. After a storm the work is straightforward and physical — limbs off the fences, wood cut to length, brush chipped and gone. The lot comes back squared away, with the mountain still standing over it.
