Chilo's Landscaping

About Chilo's Landscaping

For two weeks in April the orchard benches above Cashmere go white and pink all at once, and the whole valley smells like it is starting over. Chilo's Landscaping keeps lawns in that country, where irrigation is a habit and green is something you tend rather than something you are given. The work is mowing and string trimming, edging along walks and drives, and clearing whatever the season drops. Grass grown in this much light comes in thick when it is cut at the right height in the right week. Standing back from a finished yard with the bloom still on the hills behind it — that is the part worth showing up for.
