Justin's Tree Service

About Justin's Tree Service

The big blows arrive on Camano at night: Saratoga Passage getting loud, madrona clattering, and somewhere along the bluff a fir deciding it has stood long enough. Justin's Tree Service meets the morning after — a top hung in another tree, a limb across a gravel lane, an alder laid over the fence between two places near Elger Bay. Island work is close work; there is always a septic field, a shed or a water view in the way, so the tree comes down in measured pieces. Between storms the trade is quieter: pruning for shape and clearance, taking deadwood out of the firs, removing the leaner before the next south wind decides for you. Then the drive is clear, the ground is raked, and the passage goes back to sounding like water.
