About CA Landscape & Services LLC
By late August the island has run dry and the lawns around Elger Bay go the color of straw, waiting for the first rain that remembers them. That is when mowing height stops being a detail — a blade set a notch too low is the difference between turf that holds through the heat and turf that gives up on it. CA Landscape & Services LLC works that stretch of Camano with cutting, string-trimming along fence lines, edging the drive and clearing the clippings off, then meets the September green when it comes back in a rush. Afternoon light arrives sideways through second-growth fir out here and lands on a yard that has just been cut, which is its own small reward. When fall turns, the same properties get raked out, cleaned up and put to bed.
