About Skagit Landscaping LLC

By late May the Skagit runs high and pale with mountain melt, pushing hard against the dikes that hold the valley in place. Skagit Landscaping LLC takes its name from that river and works the ground the river built: deep, black valley soil that grows lawn grass with almost embarrassing enthusiasm. Mowing on a tight interval, trimming around trees and posts, edging the walks — that's what keeps such ground from running off with itself. There is a good half-second, backing the mower away from a finished lawn, when the whole yard reads as one clean sheet of green. Burlington, Mount Vernon, Sedro-Woolley and Lyman are the regular stops.
