About Bleitz Landworks LLC

Burien sits on ground that remembers ice, hard glacial till a spade's depth down, with ravines like Salmon Creek cut through it where the water found a way. Bleitz Landworks LLC works with that ground rather than against it, taking on lawn mowing and maintenance, edging, brush and blackberry clearing, bed prep and mulching, and cleanups after the winter blows through. Storms off the Sound bring fir limbs down in January, and somebody has to make a yard whole again. Shaping a bed so it drains, cutting a border back to a firm line, these are small structural acts and they last. There is pride in a yard that holds its shape through a long wet year.
