About Trash Transporter LLC

Erlands Point sits on its own finger of land west of downtown, and the streets that loop through it were never built for anything bigger than a driveway, which makes a snow-covered morning slow going for anyone hauling equipment in or out. The crew runs those narrow loops the same methodical way they'd run a collection route, working block by block so no driveway gets skipped and no dead-end gets missed. The peninsula's inlets keep the air here a few degrees milder than the hills above town, so the snow that does fall tends to turn heavy and wet fast, better cleared than left to refreeze. They push it back off the pavement and stack it at the curb rather than let it pile against a garage door. By midmorning, the loops are clear and the point looks like an ordinary Tuesday again.
