Ryan's lawn services

About Ryan's lawn services

In July the daylight over Bremerton holds until nearly ten, and Kitsap Lake goes flat and gold while the last engine of the day finally shuts off. Ryan's lawn services works that long stretch of evening — mowing, edging along the walks, trimming the fence lines where the grass always tries to hide. Clippings get gathered instead of left to mat down, because a lawn that breathes stays green deeper into a dry August. Come autumn the work turns to raking and hauling, and in spring it turns to waking a yard back up out of eight months of drizzle. The pleasure of it is simple: a tidy rectangle of green, mown in one direction, quiet in the last of the light.
