About Blessings Of God Claudio's Landscaping & Maintenance

Morning comes slow to Boulevard Park, mist sitting low over the Duwamish valley until the sun finds the far side of it. That is the hour Blessings Of God Claudio's Landscaping & Maintenance starts — grass still cool, the first mowing lines drawn straight across a March lawn that has waited all winter to be woken up. Mowing, edging, string trimming and yard cleanup are the work here: a clean border along the walk, clippings gathered, the curb strip squared off so the yard reads finished from the sidewalk. Rain off Puget Sound keeps these lawns growing most of the year, so the job is less a season than a rhythm, week after week on the streets off Pacific Highway South. There is real pleasure in the last pass, when the mower shuts off and the yard is simply, plainly right.
