About Synthetic Turf Solutions

Down where North Creek meets the Sammamish, the university campus turned fifty-eight acres of old cattle-ranch flat back into a meandering wetland, and the playfields and walkways around that restoration see their own hard freeze some winters. Synthetic Turf Solutions works the turf areas and adjoining walkways near properties bordering that stretch, clearing snow and ice off surfaces that don't behave like grass or gravel — turf holds cold differently, and a frozen infill layer needs a different touch than a plowed driveway. The crew checks drainage points first, since turf that can't shed water properly just re-freezes overnight into a sheet. Walkways get cleared alongside the turf, so a path to a field or a front door doesn't end at a patch of ice the turf disguised. It's specific, unglamorous work that most people never think about until a field is unusable. Cleared right, the ground is playable again by the time anyone's ready to use it.
