Yourd Yard Maintenance

About Yourd Yard Maintenance

Late on an August evening the light off Lake Tapps goes copper, the boats come in, and the plateau cools down enough to be good working weather. That is a fine hour to be finishing a lawn: Yourd Yard Maintenance running long straight passes with the mower, cutting the fence line back by hand, walking the blower down the sidewalk until nothing is left but green grass and bare concrete. A Bonney Lake summer hands a yard everything at once — fast growth, blackberry canes reaching in from the property edge, hedges leaning over the walk — so the job is as much about holding a line as making a cut. When the weather turns back to rain and the maples along the 410 let go all at once, those same yards want raking and one last tidy before the cold. From the street, a neighbor can tell which house got the attention, and that is the whole point of the trade.
