About Mateo Landscaping

A front yard is the first sentence a house says, and in Fairhaven, where sandstone steps and old porches face the street, it is worth saying something readable. Mateo Landscaping works that ground: shaping front-yard landscaping, keeping lawns mown and edged, and taking on tree service under the big-leaf maples that lean over these blocks. October is the honest season for it, when leaves come down in gold handfuls along the Chuckanut side of town and the beds want cutting back before the rain settles in to stay. Limbs come down clear of the roofline, hedges return to shape, and the turf gets a last true cut before the light shortens. Through the gray months the yard keeps its lines, waiting on the rhododendrons to open again.
