There is a particular hour on a sod job when the last roll goes down and a bare yard off Bakerview becomes a lawn between one breath and the next. J & O Landscaping does that work — ground prepped and graded, sod laid and the seams pulled tight, then watered in and mowed on schedule once it has taken hold. Ongoing mowing, edging, trimming and yard cleanups keep the rest of the property in step with it. Bellingham's long wet season is generous to new turf, and a lawn set down in October is knitted in by spring. The route serves Bellingham, Ferndale and Lynden.
