About Cain's Lawn & Gardening

The gardens on South Hill look out over the bay and, on a clear day, all the way to the San Juans, and Cain's Lawn & Gardening tends those same beds through Bellingham's long grey stretch of rain before winter ever properly arrives. When a cold snap does bring snow, the crew shifts from pruning shears to shovels without missing a step, clearing garden paths and front walks the same careful way they'd stake a rose bed, so the plantings underneath stay undisturbed. A snow-covered yard on South Hill can look almost like a held breath, everything paused until the walk is clear again. Getting a homeowner safely out to their car on an icy morning, without a single perennial trampled getting there, is exactly the kind of care this work asks for.
