About NW Classics Landscape & Design

Madronas lean out over the west-facing bluffs with their bark peeling to orange, and past them, on a clear evening, the Olympics go blue and then black. Lawns on those points are shaped by whatever was there first: rock outcrops, root flare, the wandering curve of an old bed line. NW Classics Landscape & Design mows to those shapes instead of through them, walking the curves with an edger and trimming close in around trunks. Cut grass off, walkways cleared, the lawn left reading as one smooth plane against the water. Low sunset light is unforgiving on turf, which is precisely why the work gets checked in it.
