About KBA Land Clearing LLC

North of Battle Ground toward Amboy, the fields still carry the stump rows left over from logging decades back, and KBA Land Clearing spends most of the year turning that ground into pasture and Christmas-tree rows one section at a time. Winter interrupts the clearing work but not the driveways that lead to it, the long gravel lanes cut straight through what used to be timber, and those need a blade of their own once the first hard freeze locks them up. The company swaps its brush cutters and stump grinders for plow attachments for the season, working the same properties end to end from the county road back to the barn. Frost holds longest in the open cleared ground, out where the trees no longer break the wind, so those long straight lanes ice before the timbered edges do. By the second cold snap of the year, the driveways it cleared in July are the same ones it is plowing in January.
