May in Auburn is a rhododendron month — whole front yards blooming at once, and the grass beside them climbing an inch every few days. Green Thumb Lawn & Gardening works both halves of that picture: mowing and edging the lawn, then weeding beds, trimming hedges and shrubs back into shape, and laying fresh mulch so the borders read as clean as the turf. There is real pleasure in the moment a bed line is recut and the whole yard suddenly looks intentional. Later in the year the work shifts to cutting back, raking out and clearing leaves so nothing sits rotting against the roots. Gardens and lawns alike, tended across Auburn and the neighboring valley towns.
