The Grass Barbers

About The Grass Barbers

There is a barbershop logic to a well-kept lawn: one length everywhere, clean lines at the edges, nothing left on the collar. The Grass Barbers bring it to yards around Auburn, mowing, trimming, edging and clearing the clippings so the cut reads properly from the curb. On a Thursday afternoon in June the light comes sideways through the big street trees and fresh stripes show up like combed hair. Feeding and weed control keep the canvas worth cutting in the first place, which is half the job nobody sees. The routine is repetitive on purpose — that is exactly how an Auburn yard stays looking like this.
