About McAllister lawn care

The first dry Saturday in March is loud all over Artondale — every mower on the block waking up at once after a winter of moss and drizzle. McAllister lawn care is out for it, making the cut that sets up everything after: the mat of winter growth taken down, the edges redrawn, the walks swept off. From there it becomes a weekly business, because grass on this ground does not wait for anybody's calendar. Little by little the moss loses ground and the green evens out across the yard. By June the lawn looks the way it always seemed like it should.
