About Mateo Lawn Care & Landscaping

The big-leaf maples out toward Arletta let go all at once. Lawns underneath them vanish by Tuesday and have to be found again. Mateo Lawn Care & Landscaping mows late into the fall here, cutting and clearing so the grass keeps its light instead of matting under a wet blanket of leaves. Days shorten quickly on this side of the water, and the last pass of the afternoon happens in that blue half-hour before the porch lights come on. A yard left clean at dusk in October is a small and genuine accomplishment.
