About Country Green Turf Farm

West of Arlington the land lies flat toward Silvana, dairy fields and long fences, and in June the dew hangs on until nine in the morning. Country Green Turf Farm works in that open country and brings its habits back into town — mow, trim, edge, tidy the perimeter, leave nothing ragged. Grass in the Stillaguamish valley grows with an enthusiasm that surprises newcomers; it wants cutting nearly all year and rewards anyone who keeps up. There is real satisfaction in the first pass across a wet lawn, the blade lifting one clean stripe out of the shag. The crew covers Arlington and the surrounding towns, week in and week out.
