About Highland Landscape Design
Some days here the rain doesn't fall so much as hang, a fine gray sift over the Heart Lake road and the wooded lots along it. Highland Landscape Design works those days anyway, because grass on Fidalgo does not stop for weather this mild. Mowing at a height the wet can carry, trimming out the ferny margins, edging where lawn gives way to salal and stone, then hauling the clippings so nothing mats down. Later the cloud lifts off Mount Erie and everything turns briefly, absurdly bright — and the yard is ready for it. Anacortes and the neighboring towns, all through the soft months.
