Cauley Cuts

About Cauley Cuts

Alderwood Manor takes its weather in a fine grey drizzle that can last a week without ever quite becoming rain, and the grass never really stops because of it. Cauley Cuts works those soft-lit days — mowing, edging, trimming the borders, clearing the clippings that would otherwise mat down in the wet. A stripe cut into a lawn under that overcast has a particular look: deep, soft, green on green. Moss is the standing conversation in this corner of Snohomish County, and turf kept at a sensible height on a regular interval fares far better against it. The rounds run through the mild months and well past the point where drier places have quit for the year.
