About Legend Lawn Care

Drive west out of Airway Heights on Highway 2 and the town gives way to wheat in about a mile — miles of it, going pale and then gold as the season turns. Legend Lawn Care works the streets on the near side of all that, mowing lawns, edging walks and trimming out fence lines and mailbox posts. Late July is when the country and the yards move in opposite directions: the fields drying toward harvest while the watered grass still wants its weekly pass. The after is the good part — clippings gone, height even, the border sharp enough to see from the sidewalk. The rounds keep on until the plains go brown and the cleanups close out the year.
