About Santiago's Landscaping LLC

By October the maples on the hill above Broadway are dropping in earnest, and every rain presses them into the lawns like wet paper. Santiago's Landscaping LLC works against that: leaf and yard cleanup, mowing while the grass still asks for it, edges recut, the debris hauled away instead of raked to the curb. Aberdeen never gets a hard stop to its season — the green keeps going under the gray — so autumn here is less about closing a yard down than keeping it breathing. There is a good half hour at dusk when a cleared lawn shows its color again, wet and bright under the streetlight. That half hour is the one worth working for.
