About J&L Tree Service Inc

Aberdeen keeps its own weather — the southwest wind comes off Grays Harbor loaded, and by December the alders along the Wishkah are bending with it. J&L Tree Service Inc works the wet blocks north of the river, where a cottonwood can put on a startling amount of wood in ten years and a fir planted once for privacy has become something else entirely. They take trees down in tight side yards, trim back canopy that has closed over a roofline, and prune so the little light this town gets in winter can actually land somewhere. After a blow the streets fill with limbs and the crew works them off the fences and out of the driveways. A rain-dark yard, cleared and swept, looks like a small piece of order made against a very large sky.
