Sprocket's

About Sprocket's

Windsor is a machine-shop town at heart, and Sprocket's carries the name and the habit: measure it, do it, move on. In the warm half of the year that means mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups on yards from the village up toward the woods around Paradise Park; in the cold half it means plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks, and putting down salt or sand where the ice sets in overnight. Two seasons, one standard — the grass cut to an even height, the pavement scraped to its actual surface. Winter mornings here start black and cold, and a drive already open when the porch light goes on is a quiet gift. Summer or snow, the truck shows up.
