Waterbury sits where the Little River meets the Winooski, with Camel's Hump filling the southern sky and the reservoir holding cold air well into May. Marty Wells Land Services carries the whole year here: mowing, trimming and cleanups once the valley greens, then plowing, shoveling and sanding after the ground locks. Summer is river-bottom lawns that grow twice as fast as anyone plans for, and a mower that runs from Waterbury Center down to the village. Winter is being awake at hours nobody else keeps, opening drives so the commute along Route 2 can happen at all. Same properties, same attention, two completely different machines.
