About F.A.S. Trucking & Landscaping

Wallingford wakes in the blue shadow of White Rocks, where the Otter Creek valley holds cold the way a bowl holds water and the light comes late over the ridge. F.A.S. Trucking & Landscaping works against that early dark — plow blades down along Route 7, dooryards and driveways opened before the village is properly awake, banks pushed back square so the next storm has somewhere to go. There is a particular satisfaction in a lot cleared to the pavement, the edge cut clean where snow meets lawn, the whole surface waiting quietly for boots and tires. From the mountain roads out toward East Wallingford and Danby to the flats running north through Clarendon toward Rutland, winter gets answered one pass at a time.
