About Bayley View Land Works, LLC

The old Bayley-Hazen Military Road crosses Walden on its long climb north, a route cut during the Revolution through high, open country. Bayley View Land Works carries a name that echoes it, and tends the land along these hilltops once spring makes it up the slope. Late May comes slowly here, with cold mornings and fields still brown at the edges, and then the grass takes off all at once. The first mowing of the year lays a yard back down level, trim lines go in clean along the drive and around the woodshed, and the property looks ready for summer before summer quite believes it. On a clear day the view runs a long way, and a tidy yard in the foreground makes the whole of it look intended.
