About Cassan Landscaping

Cassan Landscaping keeps lawns in Sunderland, Vermont, where the Battenkill runs cold between the Taconics and the long green wall of the mountains east of 7A. It is narrow country here — hayfield, hedgerow, dooryard, then woods — and a lawn in that valley has to earn its shape against all of it. That is the work: mowing lines laid straight across a slope, edges cut clean where grass meets gravel drive, a yard that looks cared for from the road on a July evening when the light comes in sideways off Equinox. There's a plain satisfaction in the last pass of the day, the machine cooling, the whole place holding its season. Lawn care in Sunderland and the surrounding Bennington County towns.
