Hallock Excavating

About Hallock Excavating

Up toward Jerusalem the roads in Starksboro turn to gravel and the frost sets deep enough to hear underfoot. Hallock Excavating pushes snow on those back roads and the long drives that leave them, plowing wide, stacking banks where they will not blind a corner, sanding where the pitch demands it. A drive on a hill has to be cleared with the next storm in mind, not only this one. Shoveling out steps, doorways, and the path to the woodshed rounds out a storm day. Done right, February feels ordinary — which is exactly the goal.
