Big Hollow Lawn and Maintenance

About Big Hollow Lawn and Maintenance

Big Hollow Road climbs east out of Starksboro into the folds of the Green Mountains, and the houses along it live with whatever the ridge decides to send down. Big Hollow Lawn and Maintenance keeps those places open and tidy: plowing drives and turnarounds through the winter, shoveling walks, sanding where the grade turns slick. When the ground thaws, the same route becomes a mowing route — trimming close to stone walls, edging along gravel, hauling off what the season wrecked. Up in the hollow the light arrives late and leaves early, so the work begins in the half-dark more often than not. A drive plowed before the first alarm goes off is the entire point.
