Paul's Pruning

About Paul's Pruning

A cared-for yard pays its people back a little every morning — in the ease of stepping out the door, in the clean line along the walk that tells the street someone is home here. Paul's Pruning works that return in Springfield, Vermont, where the Black River drops through the middle of town and the hills stand up fast off the valley floor, so the light arrives late over the ridge and leaves early behind the brick of the old mill blocks. The work is lawn care and pruning: grass held even week to week, edges cut true along stone and foundation and fence, shrubs and limbs shaped back into good order, and the seasonal cleanups that clear a dooryard before the cold closes it. It is plain, physical work with a visible result — an hour of engine noise, then a property that sits quiet and squared away, holding its shape until the next pass.
