About Bishop's Plowing & Digging L.L.C

The Black River drops through the middle of Springfield at Comtu Falls, and the old brick blocks stand right over the water where the machine shops once ran day and night. Bishop's Plowing & Digging L.L.C works the winter side of that town — plowing driveways and lots, opening walkways, sanding the pitches Springfield has in such abundance. The streets climb straight up off the river, so a storm that is merely inconvenient on the flat turns into a serious grade problem by morning. The trucks go out while it is still falling, because the second pass counts as much as the first. A drive opened at daybreak with the banks cut back square is the sort of work nobody watches and everybody notices.
