About Meyer Plows at Gill Brook Automotive

Four in the morning in Saint Albans City, and the lamps along Main Street still hold their halos of blowing snow. That is the hour the plow work starts here — down off the hill toward the bay, out where the wind comes across the flat with nothing to slow it, blade down, one clean pass and then another until the pavement shows dark again. Snow removal is the whole of the trade at Meyer Plows at Gill Brook Automotive, done for Saint Albans City and the surrounding Franklin County towns, and the satisfaction in it is plain: a driveway squared at the corners, a lot opened before the first car turns in, a bank stacked where it won't crowd the sightline. By the time light comes up over the Green Mountains and turns the drifts a brief pink, the day is already free to begin.
