About First Response Labor LLC

Saint Albans City has always been a railroad town, and on a January night the yard lights carry a long way through snow coming in off Lake Champlain. First Response Labor LLC works those nights — plowing lots and driveways, clearing walkways, doorways and stairs, hauling snow back off the corners where it blocks a driver's view. Storms cross the lake and arrive with more water in them than they started with, which makes for heavy shoveling and plenty of it. Aldis Hill takes the wind while the flat streets take the drifting, so each gets its own approach. When the city opens in the morning with clear entrances and passable lots, the night was well spent.
