About Intrinsic Property Services

Rutland lies on a wide valley floor with the Green Mountains standing up to the east and the Taconics folding away west, Otter Creek threading between them through marble country where the ground has always been worked by hand. Intrinsic Property Services keeps that ground in order across the greater Rutland County area, taking on lawn care and landscaping through the green months, snow removal once the valley turns white and hard, and property management for owners with rentals to look after. There is a plain satisfaction in this line of work: turf mown to an even nap under the long slant of August light, a dooryard opened wide before the first commuter has found their keys. A yard that holds its shape says something about the house behind it. In a valley this handsome, keeping up your corner of it is simply good manners.
