Carrara’s Services

About Carrara’s Services

Snow settles differently on marble country — it banks up white against white on the old grout piles west of Rutland until you can't tell stone from storm. Carrara's Services plows through that landscape, opening driveways and dooryards across the city and the quarry towns beyond it, then coming back to shovel the walks and steps by hand. Sand and salt go down where the ice glazes over at night and the sun never quite reaches by day. Banks are pushed back hard in December so a narrow drive doesn't close in on itself by the end of February. Pavement cleared corner to corner, with the snow put where it belongs, is the whole job done right.
