The Saxtons River runs fast and shallow through Rockingham, and the meadows it waters green up early, well before the Meeting House on its hill loses the last of the cold out of the ground. Drewsville Mowing Plus mows through that whole long stretch of growing weather, trimming around stone walls and posts and holding a firm edge along drives and walkways. Beds get mulched, the yard is opened up in spring once the ground firms, and leaves are cleared in autumn as the hillsides let go all at once. Old village properties and open country lots want different things from a mower, and both get it. A well-kept lawn beside a stone wall is one of the better sights this part of Vermont has to offer.
