About Landshapes Design-Installation

Camel's Hump stands over Richmond the way few mountains stand over a town — visible from the fields, from the road out to Jonesville, from half the driveways in the valley. Landshapes Design-Installation works in its shadow year round, mowing and maintaining lawns from the first cut of spring to the last of October, then plowing snow once the valley fills in white. Ground here runs from river flat to steep hillside inside a mile, and each kind asks for something different. The pleasure is in the finish: a lawn mowed to a true line, a driveway cleared corner to corner with the banks pushed well back. Under a mountain that big, small tidy things still read.
