About Solaflect Energy

February in Norwich is the month the light comes back — low and long across the snowfields, sharp off the Ompompanoosuc, bright enough by mid-afternoon to make the whole valley squint. Solaflect Energy is a Norwich energy company, and its winter work is snow: plowing driveways, opening lots and parking areas, clearing walkways and entries, sanding and salting the slick places that form where the hills throw shade. Snow moved early is snow that never gets the chance to become ice. There is a plain satisfaction in a lot cleared to the pavement and stacked neatly at the edges while the storm is still deciding whether it is finished. Then the sun comes around and takes the rest.
