About Vermont Landscaping & Stonework

Every old wall in Mount Holly leans a little. Frost works underneath it each winter and the hillside gives what it gives. Vermont Landscaping & Stonework keeps lawns in that country of tilted walls and glacial cobble — mowing, trimming, raking down the maple leaves that come off the ridges above Belmont in one red week of October. By then Star Lake has gone still and dark, and the mornings arrive with frost on the seat of the mower. A yard cut close, cleared out and closed up before the first hard snow is its own good ending to a season.
