Mount Holly sits high on the spine of the Green Mountains, where Star Lake lies still in Belmont village and Okemo's shoulder takes the weather first. At this elevation the green season is short and honest: it starts late, runs hard, and hands over mornings clear enough to count the ridgelines stacked away to the south. Jenkins Builders keeps lawns mowed, trimmed and edged through those months, and takes the leaves off before the ground closes for the winter. A cut lawn set against the dark of the surrounding forest looks like something deliberately held on to. Mount Holly and the towns near it are where the work is.
