About Morgan Mountain Organic Gardeners

Middletown Springs takes its name from the mineral springs near the village center, where a resort hotel once drew summer visitors to take the waters. Each May the town softens again, lilacs opening beside the porches and lawns coming up thick after the long cold. Morgan Mountain Organic Gardeners brings a gardener's eye to that growth, mowing, trimming and setting yards in order for the months ahead. The pleasure is in the details: grass cut to an even height, a walkway edged true, a yard as fresh as the springs the town was named for. In a place that has always prized what rises from its own ground, that kind of attention fits right in.
