About Kingsbury Companies, LLC

Before the sun clears the Worcester Range, the yard on Center Road in Middlesex is already awake — the Winooski running gray-green below Route 2, headlights swinging out toward the day's dig. Kingsbury Companies works in the ground of Vermont and New England: structural excavation and foundation work, site development and utility installation, ponds shaped to hold a storm, sewer, water and storm systems threaded beneath new roadway and sidewalk. On the heavy civil side the scale widens — roadways, water systems, landfill development, and the sites that carry solar farms, battery storage and biogas — while the septic side narrows it again to tank pumping, line jetting and thawing, and camera inspection of everything that runs unseen. Come winter the same machines turn to snow removal, opening a lane through the notch before the first cars come. There is a quiet pleasure in the result: a slope that sheds water the way it should, a grade cut true, a trench closed so neatly that by August the grass has forgotten it was ever opened.
