About Gnarly Roots

Lowell Lake sits a short way off the road in Londonderry, flat as glass on a July morning before anyone is up. Gnarly Roots tends the lawns in that same country through the green months — mowing on a set rhythm, edges cut sharp, beds weeded and mulched, seasonal cleanups hauled off. Southern Vermont grows hard and fast once it gets going, so the schedule is the whole trick. Nothing looks better than a lawn with a clean line where it meets the driveway. When the leaves come down off the hills in October, they get gathered up and the season closes out neat.
