Mountain Valley Tree & Landscape

About Mountain Valley Tree & Landscape

Landgrove is a very small town, a handful of homes tucked into the Green Mountain National Forest where dirt roads wind between stands of birch and beech. Mountain Valley Tree & Landscape brings lawn care to this hidden corner of Bennington County, mowing, trimming and tidying properties across the warm months. Early on a summer morning, fog sits in the hollows until the sun burns through above the ridgeline, and the dew on an uncut lawn lies so heavy it looks almost like frost. A mown yard here is a small open room in a very big forest, with space for a picnic table, a garden and a view, and keeping it that way takes regular work. The finished result reads simply: grass even and low, edges pulled back from the birches, the whole yard bright in the morning sun.
